We are located at Shepherds Place Farm near Haxey, Doncaster, we’re approximately 20 minutes drive outside of Doncaster, Scunthorpe and Gainsborough and 40 minutes from Lincoln, Sheffield and Selby.

Fancy coming for a build? We’ve made it nice and simple.

We plan to open Thursdays and Fridays after school from 4pm- 8pm when the warmer weather comes. At the moment we are just open Saturdays and Sundays from 10am until 4pm

During school holidays our opening times may vary so please check our booking system for Availability if you are unsure.

You can prebook your ticket through our website to guarantee entry, pick a time slot and we’ll make sure you’ve no queue to get checked in.

Alternatively if you’re more of a let’s do something spontaneous family then you can turn up and pay on the day. We accept cash and card. There may be a short wait during peak times if we do reach capacity. If we sell all our online tickets and are therefore fully booked we will let people know not to travel through our social media.

We have free onsite parking, please park respectfully so we can ensure we maximise space, we don’t want to upset our neighbours.

Your entry tickets last for the day of purchase and you can come and go as much as you like. Just make sure you get a stamp as you leave.

Things to know before you visit

We are located in a barn on a farm therefore we have no central heating. It can be cold inside during temperate dips and therefore we strongly advise wrapping up in winter coats, hats scarfs and fingerless gloves. We are under cover so are protected from some of the elements. We are hoping that if we do well we can fully insulate the barn and install a heating system.

Due to our location it may be muddy or soft underfoot therefor we recommend if you intend on visiting Shepherds Place Farm that you bring suitable footwear and possible a spare pair as we try to keep our floor as clean as possible. We’ve no problem with you bringing a pair of slippers (naturally the wilder the better) to change into whilst you build with us.

There are no toilets in The Brick Barn. Don’t worry though there are some located in The lambing shed play barn located just across the car park. They’re free to use for all Brick Barn customers.

We ask that you do not bring food into The Brick Barn. We appreciate that if it is cold then you may want to enjoy a hot beverage from the cafe (or you just love that caffeine hit) we’ve no problem with drinks, we just ask that adults are mindful of their hot drinks if they have them in our build areas. You may want to stop off their before entering so you’re all set before your visit. The cafe is located at the front of the site.

As cool as our models and theming may be we ask that you do not touch them. They are very special to us and take a long time to build. We do not glue our creations as we feel it takes away from the magic of this wonderful toy.

On site parking is free!
